Your donation to the Access: Supports for Living Foundation provides support to Access: Supports for Living and its affiliates: Meaningful New York, New York Families for Autistic Children, and The Guidance Center of Westchester. The Access: Network serves over 20,000 people in the Hudson Valley, Westchester, New York City, and Long Island, providing services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, substance use, and employment opportunities.

Center for College and Careers

  • Sixty Students benefited from donations of clothing totaling more than $14,000 from generous supporters and our staff throughout the Access: Network.
  • One hundred and thirty program participants benefited from meals supported by the Access: Foundation.
  • Sixty-five students attended three informational days of learning by community volunteers who shared their company’s careers and opportunities.
  • Ten students were supported with supplies for their college dorm rooms.

Veterans Outreach

  • Since 2023 the Access: Foundation supported more than 1800 outreaches with materials and gear in partnership with our Veteran’s staff Liaison, Retired M.Sgt. George Kovatch, USMC.
  • We presented to 80+ participants in an online seminar with InUnity Alliance Veteran Behavioral Health Committee that supported Veterans and their caregivers.
  • Access: Network Employee Resource Group attended the dedication for a Vietnam Veteran’s Wall in the Town of Wallkill and laid memorial roses together with the Veteran’s community in attendance with more than 250 people in attendance.

Community Garden

  • 22 participants from our prevocational program harvested 350 LBS of food in 2024 which was donated to a local food pantry, bringing our total food donation to close to 750 pounds since 2023.

Mental Health in Schools Program

  • We have engaged 2,070 junior and senior high school students through our impactful mental health assemblies through the Access: Network. These sessions are designed to address critical issues, promote mental wellness, and provide students with the tools they need to thrive emotionally and mentally.
